Worlington

Worlington is a village in the English county of Suffolk, situated on the south bank of the River Lark, neighbouring Mildenhall. This is a charming and traditional village centred around the village Church of All Saints, on Church Lane which is lined with walnut trees, and for which reason the village pub is named "The Walnut Tree". The village is known for the elegant Worlington Hall, a 16th century former Manor House, and the Royal Worlington and Newmarket Golf Club. There are no shops in the village, although shopping prospects are much better in the wider area. Worlington, is a quiet location, best suited to those seeking an idyllic retreat, fine walking, and gentle outdoor pursuits.
