Westbourne

Westbourne is a village in the Chichester District of West Sussex, in southern England. It is situated on the River Ems, which flows into Chichester Harbour at Emsworth. The river marks the westernmost boundary of Sussex with Hampshire, and it is from its location on this boundary that the village is thought to get its name.

There are 66 listed buildings in Westbourne, many of which date back to the 16th century, as well as the medieval church of St John the Baptist, which features the oldest yew avenue in England. Westbourne offers several pubs and restaurants to choose from along with a good range of quality holiday accommodation and close proximity to a number of popular attractions, including Staunton Country Park, Fishbourne Roman Palace, Chichester Cathedral, and Pallant House Gallery.
