West Lothian

West Lothian is a unitary council areas in Scotland, which borders the City of Edinburgh, Falkirk, North Lanarkshire, the Scottish Borders and South Lanarkshire. It was formed in 1996, under the Local Government Act 1994. Its principle towns are: Armadale, Bathgate, Blackburn, Broxburn, Linlithgow, Livingston, and Whitburn. This is a varied and popular part of the country to visit, that afford conveniently close proximity to the best of everything Scottish, with fantastic landscapes to explore, good shopping prospects on offer and a typical Scottish welcome in our pubs and restaurants.

The most notable attractions include Beecraigs Country Park, Blackness Castle, Cairnpapple Hill, Linlithgow Palace (birthplace of Mary, Queen of Scots), Polkemmet Country Park, and Torphichen Preceptory.
