Weeton

Weeton, or Weeton with Preese is a civil parish in the Borough of Fylde in Lancashire, England. It is situated to the east of Blackpool and just north of Kirkham. The area is mostly rural with only one public house, the "Eagle & Child", which dates back to 1585. The pub front features the old mounting steps, dating from 1755. Cromwell is siad to have stayed at the premises during the English Civil War.

The village hosts the annual Weeton Gala which is a long-standing visiting fare to the towns and villages of the Fylde, during which the village organises a parade and a garden party.
