Tibberton

The village of Tibberton in Shropshire is set amidst glorious countryside nearby the River Meese in an area popular with walkers, bird-watchers and outdoor enthusiasts. There is a holy well in Tibberton that is also the source of the name of the village; it is located in a nearby wood where a gully has been carved with the passage of the water as it travels the short distance to the River Meese. The Tibberton Holy Well is clearly signposted and found by following the gully from the road.

 

Tibberton is small, traditional village offering some amenities, a local pub and shop and is within easy reach of nearby settlements offering additional choices for dining, leisure and shopping. The countryside surrounding Tibberton offers excellent opportunities for cycling, walking, fishing and bird-watching with wonderfully diverse landscapes abundant with flora, fauna and wildlife.
