Tebay

Tebay is a village in the east of Cumbria, within the borders of what used to be the historic county of Westmorland before it was merged with Cumbria in 1974. The village enjoys a pretty location in the upper Lune Valley, at the head of the breathtaking Lune Gorge. Not only does the village offer such a beautiful place to unwind in itself, it is also situated in an ideal location between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales national parks, as well as in close proximity to the North Pennines. There are countless places to stay, to shop, to rest and to enjoy among the network of towns and villages in the area, with various holiday cottages, caravan parks and hotels to chose from and a good supply of traditional Cumberland food. 

Popular attractions of the local area include: the Rheged visitor centre, the Ullswater Steamers, Sculpture Valley, Ostrich World, Kennedys Chocolate Factory, the World in Miniature Museam, Mirehouse, Holker Hall, and Levens Hall.
