Sutton Coldfield is a town in the West Midlands of England, about 8 miles from Birmingham. The town is of pre-Roman origin, with a number of earth mounds observable in the town's Sutton Park. Cooking sites and arrowheads have been excavated from among them. Roman coins have also been discovered in the area.
The town retains a number of listed buildings. One particular landmark of the town is Peddimore Hall, near Walmley, which is a Scheduled Ancient Monument featuring a double moated hall, although it is in use as a private residence.
Attractions of the area include the West Midlands Safari Park and Drayton Manor Theme Park.
