Strathcarron

Strathcarron is a small village, situated in a scenic location at the head of the Loch Carron sea loch, which is between the rivers, Carron and Taodail, in the Scottish council area of Ross and Cromarty, in the Scottish Highlands. Although it is small, it has good amenities, including a hotel called the "Strathcarron Hotel", a campsite and caravan park, and a number of self-catering apartments and cottages.

Popular attractions in the area include the mountainous estate of Torridon, the Balmacara Estate & Lochalsh Woodland Garden, and Kintail & Morvich, to name only a few locations from which to explore the magnificent highland scenery of Scotland.
