The small town of Southwick in the charming county of West Sussex is so close to Brighton and Hove that it acts as a suburb for the area and is within easy reach of all the delights of the seaside resort. The settlement here was mentioned in the Domesday Book and later records from 1309 reveal further development here. Growth and prosperity came with the railways in the 19th century as tourism became popular in this area.
