Solihull

The large town of Solihull in the county of West Midlands has an apt motto ‘Town in the Country’ as it truly has the best of both worlds. Set amongst some of the most scenic and diverse countryside in England, Solihull is a thriving, cosmopolitan town that has prospered by being in the geographical centre of the country. A stone cross on Meriden village green marks the exact centre. Much of the history and heritage of the town can be discovered in the well preserved Manor House that dates from the 15^th century as well as the ancient mediaeval parish church of St Alphege.
