Slaidburn

Slaidburn is a small village within the scenic Ribble Valley district of Lancashire, England. The village is situated at the head of the River Hodder and the Stocks Reservoir, within the Forest of Bowland, which is an Area of Outstanding National Beauty that attracts thousands of visitors every year. The area of the Ribble as a whole is extremely popular with walkers, boasting countless beautiful and historically fascinating routes for every level of fitness. The local pub, "The Hark To Bounty", houses and ancient courthouse.

The village of Slaidburn is also conveniently located for access to much of the wider area of Lancashire, including the major cities of Manchester and Preston, as well as various family attractions across the region.
