Shaftesbury

The famed town of Shaftesbury in the beautiful county of Dorset is one of the oldest and highest towns in the country, at 718 feet above sea level on Cranborne Chase; a chalk plateau that is part of the English Chalk Formation, an area of 379 square miles designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
