Seaview is an Edwardian seaside resort on the Isle of Wight, overlooking the Solent, in the south of England. The village is a very popular tourist destination, neighbouring the larger town of Ryde, which is the main landing point of the island.

It offers a lively High Street, with scenic views to the shore, several very reputable pubs and restaurants, and a number of interesting landmarks, such as the Salterns Cottages, and the Rope Walk. Priory Bay is just a ten minute walk from the village, which is a very popular white sand beach and swimming location. There is an excellent choice of holiday accommodation in and around the village, including some with sea views, along with a Thai take-away restaurant, a tea room, and various convenient shops.

Popular attractions on the island include the Seaview Wildlife Encounter, Carisbrooke Castle, the famous views at The Needles and Alum Bay, the 108 km Isle of Wight Coastal Path, the Blackgang Chine theme park, the Isle of Wight Zoo, and Yarmouth Castle, to name only a few. The Isle of Wight is also a haven for wildlife and sites of geological and natural importance. It is one of the few places in England where the red squirrel is flourishing.
