Scunthorpe

Also known as the "Industrial Garden Town", Scunthorpe is a town at the heart of North Lincolnshire, in North East England. It is the United Kingdom's largest steel processing centre, and the third largest settlement in Lincolnshire after Grimsby and Lincoln. The town is situated on low-lying land by the River Trent, surrounded by agricultural land and woodland areas. It offers very good amenities, including a good choice of holiday accommodation, a range of entertainment venues, and good shopping prospects, with excellent links to the major towns and cities of North East England.

Popular attractions in the wider area include the National Fishing Heritage Centre in Grimsby, the Sealife Centre and Pleasure Island Theme Park at Cleethorpes, Waltham Windmill, Lincoln Castle, Lincoln Cathedral, Thornton Abbey, and Natureland Seal Sanctuary, to name only a handful.
