Salisbury

The attractive cathedral city of Salisbury in the county of Wiltshire, is located in the south-east of the county, near the edge of the famous Salisbury Plain. Five rivers meet here; the Nadder, Ebble, Wylye, Bourne and Avon, enriching the natural beauty and increasing the variety and abundance of wildlife, flora and fauna. This is England's rural heartland and an incredible place for visitors, with so much to enjoy. Salisbury is home to the magical, mystical Stonehenge and has a history dating back over 5,000 years.

There is such a wide and varied choice of visitor attractions and places of natural beauty that the visitor will be challenged to fit it all in. The World Heritage site of Stonehenge is of course an essential site to visit, as is Salisbury Cathedral, Longleat and Stourhead gardens and countless historic sites, stately homes, beautiful gardens, award-winning museums and a choice of lovely traditional pubs and eateries.
