Rushden is a prettily situated town in a valley of Northamptonshire, England, through which the Sidney Brook flows to the River Nene. The area is a very popular location for walkers, fishing and horse riding, due to the patchwork of picture-postcard villages and winding waterways that make the region such an enjoyable place to relax.
Some of the sites and attractions of the area are: Wicksteed Park, the Billing Aquadrome, the falconry exhibition at Holdenby House, the medieval Rockingham Castle, and the Manor House in Ashby St Ledgers — the site where the Gunpowder Plot was arranged. Rushden also has a museum, which can be found in Rushden's landscaped Hall Park
