Roecliff

Roecliffe is a village in Harrogate in North Yorkshire, England. The village is prettily situated on the banks of the River Ure and is centred around an idyllic village green. There is only one pub in the village but it is notably a very good one, "The Crown Inn" which serves excellent food, fantastic draught beers and very good fine wines.

Harrowgate is an eternally popular holiday destination in the North of England and has been since the middle-ages, when the springs of the region were discovered to be mineral-rich and to possess many health giving properties. The town of Harrogate Spa, in particular grew in wealth and beauty as a result of the many prosperous, yet unhealthy patrons who visited the town.

The North Yorkshire region as a whole is a very attractive and historical landscape of rivers, moors and ancient rural villages, which is an extremely pleasant visiting place for walkers and fishing enthusiasts, as well for that traditional English family holiday filled with fun, intrigue and adventure.
