Pontyclun is a village in the Rhondda Cynon Taf of South Wales. It has developed significantly in recent years as a new home to migrants of the quiet South Wales Valleys, and from the crowded capital city of Cardiff. In short, Pontyclun is that happy medium, providing breathtaking views of the famous Welsh Valleys, as well as excellent travel links by which to explore the wider area. This is a very popular location among walkers, cyclists and outdoors enthusiasts due to its location among a knot of pretty villages, rivers, mountains and historic castle-lined waterways. This is a mainly English speaking community, which unlike many towns of the Welsh Valleys, has retained its tranquillity and sense of tradition, while also offering the fun and convenience of modern living.
