Pentrefoelas

Pentrefoelas is a vilage in the Welsh county of Conwy, amid the beautiful landscape at the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. It neighbours Betws-y-Coed, and the breathtaking Swallow Falls, in North Wales.

This is an ancient settlement, benefiting from a fair amount of modernisations, to provide that excellent combination of old and new that makes a holiday enjoyable. The area is very popular for various kinds of outdoor pursuits to suit differing tastes and levels of fitness, with a series of scenic waymarked walking routes. The nearby Denbigh moors, in particular, is popular for its watermills and strings of welcoming Welsh villages.  

Popular attractions in the area include Dolwyddelan Castle, Llyn Brenig Reservoir and Visitor Centre, Bodnant Garden, Llanberis Lake Railway, and the Snowdon Mountain Railway.
