Nether Heyford

Nether Heyford is a village in the English shire county of Northamptonshire, neighbouring the county town, Northampton and the village of Upper Heyford.

It follows a traditional layout around a large village green, around which are two pubs, two churches and the usual hairdressers, butchers and local convenience shop. The Grand Union Canal passes through the village, which makes it a popular stopping point for visitors on barge holidays. It is best known for the discovery of two Roman Villas in and around the village, which is located very close to the major Roman Road of Watling Street.

Attractions in the area include the Abington Park Museum, Sywell Aviation Museum, and Holdenby House and Gardens.
