Market Harborough is an attractive market town in the central English county of Leicestershire, located on the Northamptonshire-Leicestershire border. It is located in an area that was once a part of Rockingham Forest, a Royal hunting forest of the monarchy from as far back as the reign of William the Conqueror. The town features several historic buildings of interest including a Jacobian grammar school and a church dating from the early 14th century, along with an attractive High Street, dominated by well-conserved Georgian architecture.
Attractions in the area include the Harborough Museum, Kelmarsh Hall and Gardens, Lamport Hall, Sywell Aviation Museum, the National Space Centre, and Gorse Hill City Farm, to name only a handful.
