Marden

Marden is a small village in Kent just south of Maidstone. The town boasts a 12th Century church which is dedicated to St Michael and All Angels.

Ann Widdecombe is currently the MP of the town and has recently opened the Marden Heritage Centre, which is located in the local library and gives a detailed account of Mardens 1000 year history. The scheme has been put in place to encourage Mardens inhabitants to take an interest in their towns history and the events that have taken place over 1000 years.
