Mansfield is a large town in the English county of Nottinghamshire. It is situated on the River Maun, among the steep hills of the Maun Valley. The town is notable for The Palace Theatre, which is a very popular proscenium arch theatre with regular live shows. Mansfield Museum is located just next door, while the Town Mill is a converted music venue that has featured international acts such as Jamie T, INME, Wheatus, The Levellers, and The Bluetones. Mansfield also neighbours the legendary Sherwood Forest, of Robin Hood fame.
