Malpas

Malpas is a large village and former market town, in the historic county of Cheshire, in North West England. It lies on the border with Shropshire and Wales. The remains of its former Norman castle can still be seen in the village centre.

The area is known for its scenic walks, network of canals and waterways, cobbled villages and countless listed buildings. Malpas is one of a knot of pleasant semi-rural local villages in the parish, which provide excellent holiday accommodation, countless pub-restaurants and varied entertainment, making this a very enjoyable location from which to explore the sites and attractions of Cheshire.

Popular attractions in the area include Chester Cathedral, Chester Zoo, Gulliver's World Theme Park, and the National Waterways Museums, to name only a few.
