Lympne

Lympne is a small village located in Kent with a great history dating back to roman times. It is situated on the former Sea Cliffs where the Romans built a port along with a road known today as ‘Stone Street’ running along the cliffs right to Canterbury.

Visitors will see many examples of Roman and Norman architecture, with the likes of Stutfall Castle being constructed by the Romans.

There are plenty of nearby attractions including: Westenhanger Castle and Barns, Willesborough Windmill, Dymchurch Martello Tower, St John’s Commandery Lympne and much more.

There are numerous interesting towns and villages nearby with the likes of Appledore, Ashford and Hythe being generally less than 10 miles away.
