Lochwinnoch

Lochwinnoch is a village in the Scottish council area of Renfrewshire, situated on the banks of Castle Semple Loch and the River Calder, and near the town of Paisley. 

the nearby Barr Castle is a popular attraction in the area, as a well-preserved 15th century keep, although not much survives of the former courtyard. Another historic building is the early 16th century Collegiate Church, the ruins of which can be found in Parkhill woods on the edge of the village. 

Attractions in the area include the 18th century Weaver's Cottage, Coats Observatory, Kelburn Castle & Country Centre, and Dalgarven Mill Museum of Country Life And Costume.
