Lochearnhead

Lochearnhead is a village in the Scottish council area of Perthshire, between Stirling and Crianlarich, on the  A84. It is situated at the foot of Glen Ogle, near the Highland Boundary Fault, which is at the western end of Loch Earn.

The village lies on the shore of the loch, spreading to the higher ground to the hills at the mouth of Glen Ogle. Its spectacular scenic location and close proximity to the Trossachs National Park makes it a very popular location for tourists and particularly for hill walkers. Popular walks in the area include the more comfortable Glen Ogle trail and Glen Ample, and the challenging Ben Vorlich and Stuc a’Chroin.
