Llwyngwril

The village of Llwyngwril in Gwynedd, Wales is part of the community of Llangelynnin that also includes the hamlet of Rhoslefain. Set on a slope above Cardigan Bay, the community is surrounded by picturesque countryside and outstanding views across the bay. The Llwyngwril railway station serves the community and is on the Cambrian Coast Railway bringing passengers from Barmouth, Harlech, Porthmadog, Pwllheli, Tywyn, Aberdovey, Machynlleth and Shrewsbury.  

 

Llwyngwril and the community of Llangelynnin have some amenities and are within reach of larger settlements offering further choices for dining, shopping and leisure. There is plenty to see, do and enjoy in this area that is rich with diverse natural scenery and wonderful walks. Between Llwyngwril and Fairbourne railway stations is the geologically interesting Friog Cliff that is also one of the best vantage points to take in the panoramic views.
