Llandudno

The seaside town of Llandudno in Conwy, Wales is a picturesque resort that was created in order to serve the Victorians as a healthy holiday destination. ‘Llandudno, Queen of the Welsh Resorts’ is the regal title bestowed on Llandudno around the mid 19^th century and even today, the resort remains popular as the largest seaside resort in Wales. Located between the two limestone headlands of Great and Little Ormes, Llandudno benefits from two wonderful beaches; the award winning North Shore and tranquil West Shore with its sand dunes. Much of the elegance that so appealed to the Victorians, is still evident in the architecture and town design we see alongside more modern seaside resort attractions.
