Llanddulas

Llanddulas is a pleasant and tranquil coastal village in the Conwy county borough of North Wales. It is located midway between Old Colwyn and Abergele beneath the limestone hill of Cefn-yr-Ogof from, which hides many caves from which limestone was formerly quarried.

It neighbours the village of Rhyd y Foel, and the two in conjunction have a population of less than 2000 people. Llanddulas is best known for being the location where Richard II was betrayed in 1399.

Popular attractions in the area include Rhuddlan Castle, Bodnant Garden, Conwy Castle , Plas Mawr Elizabethan Town House, Aberconwy House, Denbigh Castle, and Llyn Brenig Reservoir and Visitor Centre, to name only a handful.
