Levens

Formerly known as Beathwaite Green, Levens is a small village in the English county of Cumbria. It is a very convenient location the southern border of the famous Lake District National Park, between the southern valleys of Windermere and Morcambe Bay.

This is also a very pretty location, that overlooks the Lyth Valley and the River Kent, offering many scenic walks, and good proximity to a range of popular attractions. Levens has won the “Best Kept Village” award on several occasions and offers a peaceful vantage point from which to enjoy the beautiful yet busy lakes of Northern England.

The town is only four miles to the south of Kendal, and popular local attractions include Levens Hall and Gardens, and Sizergh Castle. The Cumbrian Cycleway is also nearby.
