Lazonby

Lazonby is a large village in the aptly named Lower Eden Valley of Cumbria, near Penrith. It offers a very pretty place in the Lake District National Park from which to explore this famous tourist region of England. It has two pubs, a supermarket, a swimming pool, numerous self-catering cottages and a campsite, plus good rail links. It is also home to the Bells of Lazonby bakery complex and the Croglin Toys & Designs independent woooden toy shop.

Popular attractions in the local area include Acorn Bank Gardens & Waterermill, Brougham Castle, Eden Ostrich World, Hutton-in-the-Forest, Penrith Museum, and the Lakeland Bird of Prey Centre, to name just a few.
