Larbert is a small town in the Scottish council area of Falkirk. It is situated in the Forth Valley, near the River Carron, 3 miles inland from the Firth of Forth, and adjoining the village of Stenhousemuir with which it shares public amenities.
It is largely a commuter town for the nearby towns of Falkirk and Stirling, as well as the cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow, with excellent transport links and shopping prospects, and a range of holiday accommodation that has made the town increasingly viable as a convenient tourist base.
