Kyle of Lochalsh

Kyle of Lochalsh is a village on the north-west coast of Scotland. It is located at the entrance to Loch Alsh, facing the village of Kyleakin, which is on the Isle of Skye and can be reached from Kyle of Lochalsh by way of Skye Bridge. The village acts as a communications and shopping centre for the area, and has a harbour with a marina. The scenic countryside and rich wildlife of the area make is a very popular place to visit and from which to explore the Highlands, with good transport links by road and from the Kyle of Lochalsh railway station, which connects the village to Inverness, and a good range of facilities and accommodation.
