Knutsford is a town in the historic county of Cheshire, in North West England, near Manchester, and within commuting distance of Liverpool. It is prettily situated on the Cheshire Plain, in a much sought-after location between the Peak District South Pennines and the Clwydian Range of the Welsh mountains.
Aside from the excellent shopping, and dining of the town, Tatton Hall, and the Tatton Park estate are probably Knutsford's main tourist attraction, which attracts visitors from all over the region in the summer months to enjoy the interesting scenery, historic architecture, and beautiful landscaped grounds of this medieval manor house.
This is an area that offers numerous scenic walks, a network of canals and waterways, cobbled villages and countless listed buildings. The town is one of a trove of pleasant semi-rural towns and villages, which provide excellent holiday accommodation, countless pub-restaurants and varied entertainment, making this a very enjoyable location from which to explore the sites and attractions of Cheshire.
