Kirkgunzeon

Kirkgunzeon is a village in the Stewartry of Kirkcudbright, which is in the council area of Dumfries and Galloway, in scenic south-western Scotland. It is situated in a rural location, within close proximity to the Solway Firth, the Galloway Forest Park, and Loch Ken, while neighbouring the historic towns of Castle Douglas and Dumfries. 

The village is known for its dramatic views, for which its residents are envied, and for its cheerful and welcoming community. Its facilities include the usual basic local shops, and a reputable pub-restaurant, that is popular with both locals and visitors alike, particularly after a good walk among the attractions and beauty spots of this fantastic destination.
