Kirk Yetholm

Kirk Yetholm is a village in the Scottish Borders, neighbouring the Scottish town of Kelso and under a mile away from the English Border. It is located within the historic boundaries of the Scottish council area of Roxburghshire, by the Bowmont Water, opposite Town Yetholm. Its village pub, the Border Hotel marks the official end of the Pennine Way, for which reason Kirk Yetholm is quite a popular tourist destination for people enjoying some rest and ralatxation before or after embarking on their adventure. Kirk Yetholm is also the headquarters of the Romani Gypsies of Scotland, where the last king of the Gypsies was crowned in 1898.
