Kilkhampton

Kilkhampton is a pretty village near the famous tourist towns of Bude and Stowe, in the north east of Cornwall, which is the south westerly most county of England. This is a very ancient and traditional village and the remains of a late Norman motte-and-bailey castle can still be seen on its outskirts.

Kilkhampton offers a good choice of holiday accommodation, with several local caravan sites, a selection of guest houses and hotels, and a large number of self-catering cottages in the local area. There are two convenience stores, two pubs, and a good selection of shops, all of which help to make this a very pleasant vantage point from which to enjoy the every-popular county of Cornwall.
