Kilcreggan is a village in the Scottish council area of Argyll and Bute. It is attractively situated on the north shore of the Firth of Clyde and has traditionally been used as a summer retreat for wealthy Glaswegians and and for daytrippers enjoying the scenery of the firth and the lochs. Kilcreggan is positioned at the end of the Rosneath Peninsula, between the Gare Loch and Loch Long. There is a regular ferry service that provides regular transport from Kilcreggan pier across the Gareloch, to Helensburgh, and across the Clyde to Gourock.
