Kelvedon

Kelvedon is an attractive village of Middle Ages in origin that is situated on the Blackwater river, in the Braintree District of the English county of Essex. It was built on the site of the earlier Roman settlement of Canonium. The village offers excellent transport links, and a good choice of holiday accommodation, including several caravan parks, hotels, and guest houses, along with good local shopping prospects and a varied selection of pubs and restaurants. Popular attractions in Essex include Colchester Castle, Colchester Zoo, Waltham Abbey, Mangapps Railway Museum, Epping Forest, and Hedingham Castle, to name only a handful, along with all the sites and attractions of London, which is just a stone's throw away.
