Hoylake

Hoylake is a seaside town in Merseyside, on the England West Coast. It is situated on the Wirral Peninsula, where the estuary of the River Dee meets the Irish Sea. Its is named Hoylake after the nearby anchorage of Hoyle Lake.

It is a traditional seaside town, with wide golden sandy beaches and a long promenade filled with shops and amusements. The high street is well stocked, with a good number of shops of both the chain store and independent variety, a good choice of pubs and restaurants, and plenty of activities for all the family. Attractions in the area include the Museum of Liverpool, the International Slavery Museum, Tate Liverpool, Speke Hall, and the World Museum.
