Heacham

Heacham is a village in the north-west of the English county of Norfolk, near to King's Lynn and Hunstanton. It is situated close to the geological feature known as The Wash. The area is known to have been inhabited for at least 5,000 years due to the discovery of numerous Neolithic and latter Bronze Age discoveries, where early man took advantage of the local water supply and fertile ground. The current village is of Anglo-Saxon origin and has developed to become a pretty and popular seaside destination from which tourists can explore the county of Norfolk, with good amenities, excellent beaches, pleasant walks and numerous things to see and do. Heacham is the resting place of relatives of John Rolf, who married Pocahontas.
