Hayton

Hayton is a small and traditional village in the famous tourist region of Cumbria, in England. It is occupies a scenic location approximately eight miles to the east of the county town of Carlisle, and only 10 miles from the Scottish border. This is an idyllic and prettily situated village offering the benefit of close proximity to all of the sites and attractions of Cumbria, between the Lake District National Park and the historic and vibrant town of Carlisle.

Attractions of the local area include Edmond Castle, the Talkin Tarn glacial lake, Hadrian's Wall, and the Solway Plain Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
