Haworth

Haworth is a rural village and tourist attraction within the City of Bradford, in West Yorkshire, England in an area known as Brontë country, for the famous literary family that once lived here. The village is idyllically situated amongst the Pennines, which provide an inspiring backdrop to the undulating cobbled streets and characteristic cottages of this picture postcard village.

Haworth House, the home of the Brontës, is one of the more notable attractions of the area, along with The Brontë Parsonage Museum. Other major attractions in the local area include the Royal Armouries, Harewood House, the Henry Moore Institute, and the West Yorkshire Playhouse. The neighbouring Victorian village of Saltaire is also a very popular attraction for visitors as it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are also a number of very popular walking routes around the village, which take in various landmarks thought to have inspired such works as Emily Brontë's "Wuthering Heights".

Neighbouring the cities of Bradford and Leeds, yet set among the villages of Cross Roads, Stanburyand Lumbfoot, Haworth is the definitive West Yorkshire holiday destination, affording access to the best of all the region has to offer.
