Hawkinge

Hawkinge is a village in the Shepway District of Kent, in south-east England. The present village of Hawkinge is actually a mile away from the original village and is much larger, and more modern, boasting excellent views and many scenic walks, for which the location is a popular location for traditional English breaks.

The village offers good amenities, with several supermarkets, and a good number of well-regarded pub-restaurants, including The MayflyThe White HorseThe Cat and Custard Pot and the Black Horse. There is also a range of restaurants and a choice of quality holiday accommodation. Attractions in the area include, The Kent Battle of Britain Museum, the Dover Roman Painted House, Port Lympne The Aspinall Wild Animal Experience, and the Pines Garden Garden and The Pines Calyx.
