Hawarden

Hawarden  is a village in the county of Flintshire in North Wales, located just 5 miles away from the historic English city of Chester. The adjacent village of Ewloe features a street of houses belonging to the extended family of footballer Michael Owen, who grew up in Hawarden. 

Flintshire offers a variety of cultural attractions and leisure activities, as well as a wealth of sites of historical importance, such as the nearby Flint Castle, which is a popular local attraction that was founded in 1277 by Edward I and was used by Shakespeare as the setting for Act III, Scene III in his play "Richard II".
