Haverhill is an industrial market town in Suffolk, England, at the borders of the counties of Essex and Cambridgeshire, just 50 miles north of London. The town lies in a gentle dip of the Newmarket Ridge, with the Stour Brook running straight through, before meeting the River Stour nearby.
Haverhill features one particular historical building of note: Anne of Cleves House, which was given to Anne of Cleves by Henry VIII as part of her divorce settlement, although she reportedly never actually went there. The building has been renovated and now houses the Sussex Archaeological Society who own it.
A selection of popular attractions of the region include Gainsborough House, Bressingham Steam and Gardens, Museum of East Anglian Life, Orford Castle, and the Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park.
