Halsall

Halsall is a village in West Lancashire, England, neighbouring Ormskirk. It is situated on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, near the border of Merseyside, which makes it a popular visiting place for people passing on barge holidays. The village originated as a small farming settlement, and the area remains sparsely populated and relatively rural, yet offers scenic holiday accommodation, ample amenities, and a traditional public house at which to gain refreshment. 

Attractions in the area include the Botanic Gardens Museum, Formby Beach, the Awesome Walls Climbing Centre Liverpool, Knowsley Safari Park, and Camelot Theme Park, to name only a handful.
