Grantham is a market town in the English county of Lincolnshire, on the River Witham. It is best known as the place where Isaac Newton went to school and as the birthplace of former prime minister Margaret Thatcher, as well as for producing the first running diesel engine in 1892.
The town offers an excellent vantage point from which to enjoy the sites and attractions of Lincolnshire, with good shopping prospects, various entertainment venues and a good choice of quality holiday accommodation.
