Goosnargh

Goosnargh is a moderately sized village north of Preston, in Lancashire, England. The village lies the scenic Ribble Valley within close proximity to a large number of country walks and waterways including the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. With three traditional public houses and ample shops and amenities, Goosnargh is a lovely vantage point from which to explore the wider Lancaster area, including the Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Camelot theme parks, Lancaster Castle and Cathedral, and numerous historical parks and buildings. The village also hosts a festival on the first Saturday after the Spring Bank Holiday Monday each year, which includes a procession through the village.
